Upon completion of the three courses comprising CRT 130, a diploma will be awarded.

  • English (9 credit hours)
  • Math (3 credit hours)
  • Laboratory Sciences (8 credit hours)
  • Humanities and Fine Arts (6 – 9 credit hours)
  • Social and Behavioral Studies (3 – 9credit hours)

Westbrook University offers the General Education courses, however, these types of courses are found at most community colleges and are transferable to Westbrook University. In most cases, students that hold an Associate Degree have already completed the General Education requirements.   • Required high school diploma or GED equivalent plus 35 hours of General Education in English, math, history, and laboratory sciences
  • 110 credit hours of personal studies in the field of the degree sought
  • A 10,000 word thesis reflecting your personal philosophies and the published philosophies of others. (10 credit hours)

bullet_headerMASTER of ARTS (M.A.) or MASTER of SCIENCE (M.S.)

  • Completion of a Bachelor Degree
  • 40 credit hours of personal studies and / or work / life experiential credits in the field of the degree sought
  • A 15,000 word thesis reflecting your personal philosophies and the published philosophies of others. (20 credit hours)

bullet_headerDOCTOR of PHILOSOPHY (Ph.D.) or DOCTOR of SCIENCE (D.Sc.)

  • Completion of a Master Degree
  • 50 credit hours of required studies which includes professional writing skills, data gathering and analysis, and research methods
  • Research Project (10 credit hours) in preparation for the 25,000 word dissertation (30 credit hours) under the direction of a committee which includes a final defense of the dissertation.
